New York, NY (September 24, 2001) -- Advanced Telecom, Inc. continues to reach out to its clients who were affected by the catastrophic terrorist activities in New York City, and has been working quite literally around the clock to help businesses and emergency services organizations with their communications needs.

Advanced Telecom is working hand-in-hand with our customers in New York with local hospitals, government agencies and several construction and cabling companies as they carry on their heroic effort in the aftermath of the tragedy. While several of Advanced Telecom clients with businesses in the affected areas are not yet able to access their total needs, Advanced Telecom is helping them and others to set up alternative methods for communications services.

"As a service company and a communications company, we take very seriously our role in helping our clients rebuild their businesses as quickly as possible under these most unfortunate circumstances," said Val Lemchuk, President and Chief Executive Officer, Advanced Telecom. "And we’re committed to doing whatever we can to meet the urgent needs of the people and organizations involved in the emergency efforts at the World Trade Center."

Lemchuk praised the tireless efforts of the entire team at Advanced Telecom in New York.

"While our country continues to mourn the victims of the September 11 tragedy, the emotions run deepest for those who live and work in New York and Washington. Many of our associates have relatives or friends whose lives may have been lost," said Lemchuk. "Under these circumstances, to be working so hard on behalf of Advanced Telecom to help others, is admirable."
